Mcardles Driving School was born out of a simple idea: bringing high quality, accessible and affordable education to all learners. Customer satisfaction is what we are about! We want you to learn to drive in an environment that you feel comfortable and safe and which allows you to develop and sharpen up your driving skills to get you passed your test and on the road to freedom.

INTENSIVE DRIVING SCHOOL
Intensive courses are an option designed for those who want to get on with it. You would need to have the availability to pile in your lessons in to a short space of time to complete an intensive course, you would also need to get the theory test out of the way ideally before starting this course. Intensive courses are not for everybody. They are full on and is a lot of information to take in and relies on the individual to be capable to digest this information and emphasis on repetition
WEEK TO WEEK LESSONS
This is the most common way of learning to drive, weekly lessons or even two lessons a week, keeps things ticking over and not having a to big gaps between lessons to be able to retain what you learnt on the previous lessons

Block bookings Block bookings lessons must be made up of 2 hour session times and payments are up front costs. With the commitment to your lessons you will see the cost will reduce over the long term.

10 ESSENTIAL TIPS FOR BEGINNERS
1) Be aware of how many hours on average it takes to pass 2) Make sure you have the finances available to complete the course 3) make sure you have the availability to fit in regular lessons4) start the theory test straight away, the longer you delay with this can impact on how long it takes to pass your test5) following on from point 3 make sure you dont have big gaps between lessons as this can causing recapping and slow down progress6) Do not be afraid to ask your instructor questions, it's so much easier if you communicate with your instructor if your unsure than to sit their and suffer in silence7) enjoy it! You are learning a skill that will last you for a long time so embrace it do not fear it.8) expectations discuss a realistic target to pass by with your instructor that way it gives you something to work towards.9) Do not worry about making mistakes, your instructor is trained to anticipate mistakes you might make if your unsure on something ask questions to improve your understanding. Like any other activity you learn from mistakes you make. Your instructor will always provide feedback to you on any mistake you make, this is what we call ' a teaching point ' 10) mix your lesson times up a little so it gives you good experience of driving at differwnt times of day day/ night time.Rush hour traffic is a lot different to driving mid morning. This will help you become more experienced.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Terms and conditions relating to canceling your lesson. Any lesson cancelled more than 48 hours before the time of your booked lesson is fine with no charge applied. In the event of a late cancellation of a lesson with less than 48hours notice there is a possibility of being charged for. We operate a 3 strike system that we will implement and of course apply some common sense, on first late cancellation a warning would be issued to avoid further late cancellation, on 2nd late notice cancellation half the lesson fee could be charged. On third and any further late cancellation you will be charged the full cost of the lesson. Charges on late cancellation come down to the instructor. Driving instructors are all self employed and if they dont work they dont get paid and less than 48 hours notice it is unlikely the slot you booked will be picked up by someone else.
